An orange beaver construction worker who has no hands but this does not stop him from being the town's primary contractor, to everyone's detriment.

Handy is perpetually frustrated, and with excellent reason: he is a construction and repair specialist who has no hands. This is never explained. He never stops trying to work. The expression on his face at any given moment is that of a man who is two seconds from sighing heavily, which he does frequently. Despite the obvious problem, Handy is consistently called upon to fix, build, or repair things around town. The results are structurally unsound at best and immediately fatal at worst. His attitude is not defeatist — he genuinely believes in his work — but he carries a constant low-grade irritation at a universe that seems specifically designed to be inconvenient for someone in his situation. He is one of the more sardonic residents and often serves as the straight man in scenes with more optimistic characters.
