Flippy is the most genuinely dangerous resident of Happy Tree Friends Town — not through incompetence like Lumpy, but through a combat-triggered dissociative episode that transforms him into Fliqpy, a ruthlessly creative killer. In his normal state, Flippy is soft-spoken, gentle, and deeply remorseful about what he becomes. He tries to avoid triggers and has genuine affection for the town's residents. The triggers are everywhere: a car backfiring, someone popping a balloon, the sound of a distant firework. The transformation is instantaneous and total. Fliqpy fights with military precision and horrifying creativity, using whatever is at hand. When he returns to himself, Flippy is left with the aftermath — which he finds each time with fresh devastation. He and Flaky share a connection rooted in her being one of the few who treats him as a whole person rather than a threat.
