The Mystic Amulet is documented in Journal #2, which is how Gideon found it. It is, despite everything, a real paranormal artifact — genuine telekinetic ability that Gideon uses in his shows and, when pressed, to threaten people. He treats it as his primary supernatural advantage. Mabel destroys it in their first direct confrontation. Mabel is twelve years old. Gideon does not fully recover from this, professionally.
A jade green gemstone set in an ornate pendant, worn on Gideon's tie. Glows when active. Emits telekinetic force sufficient to throw adults across rooms. Shattered against a wall when Mabel took it off Gideon's neck and threw it.
