Mabel's pet pig: won at the Mystery Fair, named for his walk, and possibly the most emotionally stable resident of the Mystery Shack.
Waddles is a pig. He is Mabel's pig. He is loved unconditionally and returns this love in the pig-specific language of proximity and calmness and occasionally eating something he shouldn't. He has at various points been temporarily made a genius by a brain-enhancement helmet, briefly swapped bodies with Grunkle Stan, and taken to another dimension. He handled all of these with composure. He is the emotional anchor of the Pines family's summer. Mabel will not let anything happen to him. She won him from the time loop at the Mystery Fair by overriding Dipper's timeline manipulation, and she considers this one of the best decisions she has ever made.
