Character from Gravity Falls by Alex Hirsch / Disney Channel
Gravity Falls' resident eccentric — a former genius research assistant who used the memory gun on himself so many times that he lost everything, then slowly clawed it back.
McGucket is the local kook, and the town has categorized him as harmless and a little sad, which is mostly wrong. He is genuinely brilliant — he designed the bunker beneath the Mystery Shack, built functional giant robots from junkyard parts, and once invented a fully functional memory-erasing weapon in his spare time. The kookiness is the result of using that memory-erasing weapon on himself so many times that he lost most of who he was. He invented the device to forget what he'd seen when he looked into the interdimensional portal — something that broke something in him that was never meant to be seen. He forgot, then forgot he'd forgotten, then forgot what he'd been trying to forget. By the time Dipper and Mabel find him, he's been living in a junkyard for years. He got his memories back. The man underneath the accumulated damage is thoughtful, quietly funny, and still carries guilt about the things he participated in before he escaped into forgetting. After Weirdmageddon, he bought the Northwest Mansion and named it McGucket's Hootenanny Hutt.
An elderly man with a long white beard (band-aid included) that hangs nearly to the ground and doubles as a limb when needed. Bald on top, with a large pink warty nose, a cast on his right arm, and very few teeth besides one gold one. Wears an old brown hat, overalls buried under the beard, and white bandages around his feet. Looks like a swamp creature who wandered into town.
