The great magical clock of Jubiland's palace tower that measures the kingdom's remaining hope and functions as a visible countdown to either victory or total darkness.
The Royal Clock is simultaneously a timepiece, a magical sensor, and a piece of political symbolism for Jubiland. It measures not ordinary time but narrative time — the accumulated weight of stories told and hope maintained against the pressure of despair. When Nogo was imprisoned it ran forward as a sign of the kingdom's health. Since his escape it has been running backward. Recovering Glitter Charms pushes it forward; Bad End victories push it back. If it reaches midnight — the Bad End — Nogo's imprisonment collapses entirely. The clock is why the conflict has urgency beyond the general desire not to be destroyed.
An enormous clock face set into the highest point of the Royal Clock Tower, built of gold and enchanted crystal. Its face is always visible across all of Jubiland. When running forward it glows warm amber; when running backward (as it currently does) it casts a faint cold blue light over the palace.
