The floating divine island suspended above Teyvat, realm of the gods and origin of Visions, whose true nature and motives remain the greatest mystery of the world.
Celestia is the seat of divine authority over Teyvat, home to the gods who established the Archon system and granted Visions to worthy mortals. It is said that those who ascend to Celestia achieve godhood, though the reality may be far darker. Celestia has intervened destructively multiple times in Teyvat's history — destroying the civilization at Dragonspine, striking the Chasm with a Celestial Nail, and annihilating Khaenri'ah for the sin of advancing without divine guidance. The Unknown God who separated the Traveler from their sibling appeared to act on Celestia's behalf. As the Fatui collect Gnoses and the truth about Khaenri'ah surfaces, the question of what Celestia truly wants — and what it fears — grows increasingly urgent.
A massive island of white stone and golden spires floating impossibly high above the clouds. Its architecture is severe and geometric — perfect columns, flawless arches, and structures that seem designed for beings far larger than humans. The island radiates a cold, pale light visible from the ground below. Parts of its outer edge appear cracked and crumbling, as though even divine construction is not immune to the passage of ages.
