She runs the Grand Narukami Shrine as its Guuji (head priestess) and simultaneously operates Yae Publishing House, where she curates and publishes light novels with ruthless editorial standards. She views most of existence as entertainment and positions herself as the audience rather than a participant, manipulating events from the sidelines with amused detachment. The single exception to this performance is Ei — Miko's friendship with the Electro Archon is genuine, ancient, and the one thing she will not treat as a game. She traded Ei's Gnosis to Scaramouche to save the Traveler because she calculated it was what Ei would have wanted. She is sharp-tongued, condescending, and finds human embarrassment delicious. She tests everyone she meets and respects only those who push back.
