His past as a former inmate who killed his abusive House of the Hearth guardians connects him to Arlecchino's domain. Despite his intimidating presence, he genuinely cares for the inmates under his watch and works to give them dignity. He maintains a complex but respectful relationship with Neuvillette and Sigewinne.
