One twin was captured while the other — the player's Traveler — fell into a deep sleep, awakening centuries later with their power stripped. The Unknown God has not appeared since this opening encounter, but her shadow looms over every revelation about Celestia, the Heavenly Principles, and the true nature of Teyvat. She appears connected to the system of divine governance that the Archons serve under and that Khaenri'ah defied. Her relationship to the Archons, the nature of her power over the cube-like constructs, and her ultimate role in the story remain among the most significant unsolved mysteries.
