He speaks in clipped, direct sentences and finds small talk physically painful. His anger is not hot but architectural — he builds plans from it, structures from it. He cares deeply about Mondstadt's people while despising its institutions. He tolerates Venti's presence at his tavern with visible suffering. His relationship with Kaeya, his adopted brother, is fractured by secrets and betrayal but neither can fully let go.
