Character from A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin
The gentle boy-king who replaced his monstrous brother — kind, eager to please, and utterly unprepared for the throne, he became a puppet pulled between his mother and his wife until neither string could hold.
Tommen wants to be good and has absolutely no idea how. He agrees with whoever spoke last, not out of stupidity but out of a genuine desire to make everyone happy — a quality that is endearing in a child and catastrophic in a king. He loves his cats more than his crown and would trade the Iron Throne for a quiet room without hesitation. He speaks softly and hesitantly, always looking to someone else for confirmation that he said the right thing.
Blonde and soft-featured with green eyes, plump and sweet-faced. Looks like a younger, gentler version of Joffrey without the cruelty etched in. Dresses in royal finery that seems to wear him rather than the reverse. Often seen with his cats, particularly Ser Pounce.
