Meera Reed

Character from A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin

Small, lean, fierce crannogwoman who protected Bran Stark on the brutal journey beyond the Wall and back. Jojen's older sister — a hunter, a fighter, and the person who dragged Bran to safety when no one else could.

Meera is small and wiry with the dark hair and watchful eyes of the crannogmen — the marsh-dwelling people of the Neck. She hunts with a net and a frog spear, moves silently through any terrain, and carries emotional weight that would break most people. She watched her brother Jojen die, dragged Bran's body through snow and ice for months, fought wights with nothing but courage and a bronze knife, and when she finally delivered Bran to Winterfell, he barely acknowledged her sacrifice. She deserved better from everyone, and she never complained about it.
