Robot Hell

Location from Futurama by Matt Groening & David X. Cohen

The afterlife destination for sinful robots, hidden inside an abandoned New Jersey amusement park — ruled by the Robot Devil with musical numbers and ironic punishments.

Robot Hell is where bad robots are sent when they die — or are dragged while still alive, as happened to Bender when he broke his vows to Robotology. It's located beneath Reckless Ted's Funland, an abandoned amusement park that Fry remembers from the 20th century (it was shut down after a salmonella outbreak in the flume ride). Accessible by pressing the symbol of Robotology and sliding down into the underworld. The Robot Devil presides over an eternity of ironic punishments, complete with elaborate musical numbers. Bender escaped by winning a fiddle contest. Calculon annoyed the Robot Devil so thoroughly during his stay that he was ejected voluntarily.

Appearance

A subterranean cavern filled with fire, brimstone, and industrial machinery, accessed via a slide inside the fun house at Reckless Ted's Funland in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The aesthetic mixes medieval hell imagery with robot-themed industrial design.
