Suicide booths represent the show's darkest running sight gag — automated death machines on every street corner, as commonplace as phone booths were in Fry's era. America's favorite brand since 2008, they cost 25 cents and offer two options: 'Quick and Painless' or 'Slow and Horrible' (also described as 'Clumsy Bludgeoning'). Fry accidentally entered one while looking for a phone booth in his first minutes in the 31st century and met Bender, who was there to kill himself after learning the girders he bent were used to build suicide booths. One suicide booth, named Lynn, later became Bender's girlfriend and eventually murdered him.
Roughly the size of a phone booth with a friendly exterior and a sign that lights up when in use. The Stop'n'Drop brand features two modes: 'Quick and Painless' and 'Slow and Horrible.' The design is deliberately cheerful for something designed to kill you.
