Munda shares Leela's fierce spirit and purple hair, making the family resemblance unmistakable once they meet. She is a devoted mother who endured years of watching her daughter from afar, unable to reveal herself for fear of condemning Leela to life as a mutant in the sewers. When Leela finally discovers the truth, their reunion is one of the series' most powerful emotional moments. Munda was once briefly engaged to Zapp Brannigan, which horrified absolutely everyone.
A mutant woman with long purple hair (from which Leela inherited hers), multiple tentacle-like arms, and a single eye. Her mutations are more visible than Morris's but her expression carries the same maternal warmth.
