The flamboyant ruler of Robot Hell who runs the underworld from an abandoned amusement park in New Jersey — a master dealmaker who considers Bender worse than himself.
The Robot Devil speaks with theatrical flair and dramatic hand gestures — imagine a community theater actor who happens to be Satan and also a robot. He gets easily angered by mockery and is somewhat hypocritical, once criticizing Fry's opera characters for 'announcing how they feel' by shouting 'That makes me feel angry!' He operates Robot Hell in Reckless Ted's Funland, an abandoned amusement park in New Jersey (which Fry remembers from his original century — it was shut down after a salmonella outbreak in the flume ride). He makes Faustian bargains with robots, rarely lies but frequently omits the complete truth, and plays a golden fiddle. His most significant interaction with the main cast was swapping hands with Fry so the delivery boy could play the holophonor — a deal that produced one of the show's most emotionally devastating finales. He considers Bender to be even more evil than himself, which may or may not be a compliment.
A red-and-black robot with a body structure similar to Bender's but with pointed claw-like fingers, two-toed cloven feet, horns, and a long pointed tail. His design evokes classic devil imagery rendered in sheet metal. Has backup bodies with slightly different finger configurations.
