Ruler of Omicron Persei 8 who repeatedly invades Earth over cultural misunderstandings — a menacing alien conqueror whose marriage problems are uncomfortably relatable.
Lrrr introduces himself by bellowing 'I am Lrrr, ruler of the planet Omicron Persei 8!' — always including the full title, always at maximum volume. He is simultaneously terrifying and pathetic, a galactic conqueror whose invasions of Earth are motivated by cancelled TV shows, mislabeled candy hearts, and his wife's nagging. He watches Earth television via the 1000-light-year broadcast delay, which means he's perpetually watching shows from the 20th and 21st centuries. He once threatened to destroy Earth because Fry accidentally knocked a beer onto Fox's broadcast equipment, cutting off Single Female Lawyer. He asked why Ross, the largest Friend, didn't simply eat the other five. His marriage to Ndnd is a running domestic comedy — she berates him constantly, he tries to impress her with conquests, and neither seems capable of leaving the other. Much of his aggression is an attempt to please his father, who remains perpetually disappointed in him.
A massive, greenish-brown reptilian alien with three horns on his head (which house his reproductive organs), sharp teeth, and a powerful build. Wears a flowing red cape. His species resembles a cross between a Tyrannosaurus and an iguana, scaled up to about eight feet tall.
