Character from Futurama by Matt Groening & David X. Cohen
The Robot Mafia's enforcer — a volatile robot whose solution to every problem is clamping and who replaces his clamp-hands with alarming frequency.
Clamps has exactly one talent and one conversational topic: clamping. He threatens to clamp things, he clamps things, and he talks about clamping things he has already clamped. His volatility makes even the Donbot nervous. He was sent undercover at Planet Express to murder Bender after the latter entered witness protection, but his inability to stop threatening people with clamping immediately blew his cover. His full name is Francis X. Clampazzo, which he finds embarrassing. He prefers to be called Clamps.
A grey robot with an angular body and two enormous industrial clamps instead of hands. His face wears a permanent expression of barely contained rage. His clamps are his defining feature — oversized, threatening, and constantly flexing.
