This is why Brevon came here specifically: his warship's drive needs a power source of extraordinary density, and the Kingdom Stone is exactly that. The Stone also has a longer history than most people on Avalice are aware of. Its origins are ancient, possibly extraterrestrial in their own right, and its nature goes beyond simple energy storage. Protecting it is not just about preventing Brevon from leaving — it is about keeping Avalice itself intact.
A massive crystalline formation, roughly the size of a building, that glows with shifting colors — deep violet, electric blue, and warm amber depending on its state. It hangs suspended in its chamber at the center of Avalice's political geography, held by ancient mechanisms and the accord of the three kingdoms. When it pulses, the pulse can be felt for miles. When it is corrupted, the colors turn sickly and wrong.
