Cadets launch from its cliffside edge into open sky, learning to maneuver at altitudes that would kill them instantly if they fell. Dragons gather here between sessions, establishing their own hierarchies and territories separate from the human structures. The field is where bonds are tested, signets are practiced, and the reality of being a dragon rider moves from theory to visceral, terrifying experience.
