Raych grew up in the Dahlite slums of Trantor, where survival meant reading people fast and fighting dirty. Adopted by Seldon and Dors, he became the family's practical arm — the one who handled threats with directness while his father handled them with equations. He is loyal to his bones, protective of those he loves, and far more perceptive about individual humans than Hari, who thinks in populations.
Compact, dark-skinned with the thick black mustache characteristic of Dahl sector. Wiry and quick, with a fighter's economy of movement. Shrewd eyes and a ready grin that can turn dangerous.
