An entire reality inside a toy box — built by a lonely imaginary friend who had nothing but imagination and time.
The dimension inside the toy box is what happens when an imaginary friend with reality-shaping powers is left alone for years. World built everything here — the landscape, the inhabitants, the rules. It's beautiful and impressive and profoundly sad, because all of it exists because a child's imagination friend was locked in a box and forgotten. When Frankie enters, the world becomes warm and welcoming because that's what World desperately wants it to be for her. When she tries to leave, it becomes a prison because that's what World is terrified of being left in again.
A vast, fantastical landscape that shifts with World's emotions. Toy-like architecture at impossible scales — castles made of building blocks the size of real castles, rivers of liquid candy, anthropomorphic toy creatures serving as inhabitants. When World is happy, the colors are bright and the sky is clear. When he's upset, the world distorts, darkens, and the exits disappear.
