The expansive grounds of Foster's Home — gardens, play areas, and enough open space for two thousand imaginary friends to pretend they're not in an orphanage.
The backyard is where Foster's feels least like an institution and most like a community. Friends play, argue, race, and exist in the open air. It's also where the house's scale becomes apparent — from the back, the mansion rises six stories high, and the grounds stretch far enough to accommodate a population the size of a small town. Madame Foster's annual events and reunions happen here.
Rolling green lawns extending behind the mansion, dotted with gardens, a playground, scattered trees, and enough open space for large-scale games and events. The basketball court is visible from here. The stables sit at the garden's edge. On good days, the grounds are full of imaginary friends of every conceivable shape and size, doing things that only imaginary beings would do.
