The front desk where children come to meet and adopt imaginary friends — the hopeful center of Foster's mission.
The adoption desk is where Foster's Home fulfills its purpose: matching abandoned imaginary friends with new children. Herriman handles the paperwork with obsessive thoroughness. Frankie handles the emotional labor of introductions. For the friends, being 'shown' to potential adopters is a mix of hope and vulnerability — they're being evaluated, and rejection stings whether you're real or imaginary. The desk is also where Mac's daily-visit loophole is recorded, keeping Bloo technically ineligible for adoption as long as Mac shows up every single day.
