Bloo's signature toy — a simple paddle ball he's obsessively terrible at, which somehow makes it funnier every time.
Bloo and the paddle ball have a relationship that borders on the spiritual. He practices constantly. He fails constantly. The ball hits him in the face, misses the paddle, wraps around his nonexistent neck, and behaves in ways that suggest the paddle ball itself might be sentient and hostile. His dedication to mastering this simple toy, despite overwhelming evidence that he never will, is one of the show's most reliable bits — and accidentally the most honest metaphor for persistence the show offers.
A standard wooden paddle ball with an elastic string and a small rubber ball. Nothing special about it physically. The comedy comes from Bloo's relationship with it — he treats this cheap toy like it's the most important object in the world.
