Coco's Eggs

Colorful plastic eggs laid by Coco at unpredictable intervals, each containing a random object — from bicycles to toasters to things that shouldn't fit inside an egg.

Coco's eggs are one of the show's great unexplained phenomena. She lays them. They contain objects. The objects range from mundane (a pen) to impossible (a working bicycle) to baffling (a complete set of silverware). No one knows how objects get inside them. No one knows what determines the contents. The eggs operate on the same logic as Coco herself: don't ask how, just accept that it works. Residents have learned to check new eggs immediately because the contents can be genuinely useful — or genuinely dangerous.

Appearance

Brightly colored plastic eggs of varying sizes. They look like oversized Easter eggs with smooth, shiny surfaces. Each one is different. They appear without warning whenever Coco decides (or doesn't decide — the process seems involuntary) to lay one.
