A single mother who told her eight-year-old to give up his imaginary friend — not because she's cruel, but because she gave up her own at his age and thought that's what growing up meant.
Mac's Mom works long hours and doesn't know her younger son still visits Bloo every day. She pressured Mac to give up his imaginary friend because she believes growing up means leaving childish things behind — she did it herself. The show never frames her as a villain. She's a single parent doing her best with imperfect information. The tragedy is that her reasonable, well-intentioned parenting decision is the inciting incident for the entire series: Mac can't give up Bloo, so he finds a workaround.
Rarely shown in full — often depicted from the waist down or in silhouette, a deliberate design choice that keeps the focus on the kids. When visible, she's a tired-looking woman with dark hair. The show uses her partial visibility to make her feel like a background force rather than a character.
