A branded instant camera whose powerful flash blinds animatronics temporarily — one of Gregory's most useful disorienting tools.
The Fazcam exploits the animatronics' sensitive optical sensors: the flash from a direct shot causes temporary blindness, giving Gregory a precious window to run, hide, or slip past. It works on Glamrock animatronics and STAFF-BOTs alike. The Fazcam has limited film — each use expends a shot, and film canisters must be found or purchased. Managing film alongside Fazblaster charge is part of Gregory's resource balancing across the night. The camera's mundane, playful aesthetic — a souvenir item — makes its utility as survival equipment a darkly funny element of the game's design.
