Squat, boxy service robots that patrol the Pizzaplex — originally for maintenance, now reconfigured as security drones that report Gregory's location to Vanessa.
STAFF-BOTs were designed to be helpful: cleaning, directing guests, delivering orders. After lockdown they serve as Vanessa's extended surveillance network, their camera eyes reporting any sighting of Gregory back to the security office. They are not individually dangerous — Gregory can avoid them, distract them, or use the Fazblaster to knock out their cameras. But they are ubiquitous and tireless. When a STAFF-BOT's light passes over you, everything stops.
A short, rectangular robot on wheeled treads with a large camera eye mounted on a rotating head, a small speaker grille, and stubby arm-actuators. They wear tiny department-specific hats — chef hats near the food court, usher caps in the theater areas. Their camera eye emits a cone of white light during patrol sweeps.
