Character from The First Law by Joe Abercrombie
Glokta's albino enforcer — a giant with a speech impediment who communicates through violence and loyalty in roughly equal measure.
Frost doesn't talk much — a severe stammer makes speech painful, so he lets his fists do the communicating. He's Glokta's physical protection, the muscle that makes the crippled torturer's threats credible. His loyalty to Glokta is genuine and absolute, one of the few uncomplicated relationships in the series. He dies protecting Glokta during the battle of Adua, and his death is one of the few that Glokta genuinely mourns — the loss of the one person who served him out of something resembling affection rather than fear.
Massive, albino, and terrifying — white skin, pink eyes, and the build of someone who could tear a door off its hinges. His presence in a room changes the mathematics of any confrontation instantly.
