A small settlement named for the abandoned Shinra No. 26 rocket tilting on its launch pad — Cid Highwind's home and monument to his shattered dream of being the first man in space.

What They Know

• The Shinra No. 26 rocket was never launched because Cid aborted to save Shera's life
• Cid Highwind lives here with Shera, bitterly blaming her for his lost dream of space travel
• The Tiny Bronco seaplane is parked in Cid's yard and becomes the party's transport after being damaged
• Shinra cancelled the space program after the failed launch, abandoning the rocket
• The rocket is eventually launched at Meteor in a desperate attempt to destroy it, finally sending Cid to space
