Location from Final Fantasy VII by Square Enix
A remote southern island town where the Lifestream flows close to the surface, known for its hot springs and natural mako pools. Cloud is found here in a catatonic state after falling into the Lifestream.
Mideel sits atop a thin crust above the Lifestream, making it both a healing resort and a place of danger. After Cloud falls into the Lifestream at the Northern Crater — his mind shattered by Sephiroth's manipulations and the revelation of his false memories — he washes up in Mideel in a wheelchair, catatonic and unresponsive. Tifa stays to care for him, and when the Lifestream erupts through the village during an Ultimate Weapon attack, both are plunged into the current. Within the Lifestream, Tifa enters Cloud's subconscious and helps him reconstruct his true memories, piecing together who he really is — not a SOLDIER First Class, but an ordinary infantryman who internalized Zack's experiences.
A lush tropical village built on volcanic soil where mako springs bubble up naturally, tinting pools an ethereal green. Hot steam rises from fissures in the earth, and the vegetation grows unnaturally vibrant from the concentrated Lifestream energy below the surface.
