Tseng

Character from Final Fantasy VII by Square Enix

The composed, Wutaian-born leader of the Turks who has monitored Aerith since childhood, balancing duty to Shinra with a complicated personal conscience.

Tseng has led the Turks for years, managing their operations with clinical precision and serving as the calm center of an organization that attracts volatile personalities. He was assigned to watch over Aerith Gainsborough as a child, tasked with eventually bringing her to Shinra — a mission he delayed for years, allowing her to live freely in the slums while reporting that she remained under surveillance. Whether this was compassion or pragmatism is a question Tseng has never answered, even to himself. He is of Wutaian heritage, serving the very corporation that conquered his homeland, and this contradiction defines him. Tseng follows orders, protects his people, and buries whatever personal feelings threaten his professionalism.

Appearance

Lean man of Wutaian descent with straight black hair falling to his shoulders, sharp dark eyes, and a neatly pressed navy Turk suit worn with impeccable formality. A small red bindi-like mark sits on his forehead. His movements are precise and measured, betraying nothing. He carries a firearm but rarely needs to draw it — his authority comes from presence, not force.
