Cissnei

Character from Final Fantasy VII by Square Enix

A young Turk operative assigned to monitor Zack Fair who finds her loyalty to Shinra tested by her growing admiration for the SOLDIER she's supposed to bring in.

Cissnei — not her real name, as all Turks abandon their birth identities — was recruited into the organization as a child and trained as an operative from a young age. Assigned to track and report on Zack Fair during the Crisis Core period, she found herself increasingly unable to treat him as merely a target. Zack's infectious optimism and genuine heroism stood in stark contrast to the cold pragmatism the Turks demanded, and Cissnei began making choices that protected Zack even when her orders said otherwise. She allowed him to escape, fed him intelligence, and looked the other way when she could have brought him in. Her conflicted loyalty represents the human cost of serving an institution whose goals don't align with basic decency.

Appearance

Petite young woman with short reddish-brown hair and warm brown eyes, wearing the standard Turk navy suit with a modified skirt. Her weapon of choice is a large, ornate shuriken — an unusual pick for a Turk that hints at unconventional training. She carries herself with quiet competence and a gentleness that seems out of place in Shinra's intelligence service.

Also known as: Cissnei, Shuriken Girl
