31 Spooner Street is the show's gravitational center — every episode radiates out from this house and most return to it. The living room couch is where Peter holds court, where Brian sits with manuscripts, where Stewie plots. The kitchen is where Lois maintains the household. The stairs connect to the bedrooms, which the show visits as needed. The house sits on a property that was briefly its own independent nation (Petoria) and has been haunted, flooded, structurally compromised, and visited by Death twice. It has survived all of this. It continues to be the Griffins' house. One block over is McFar Lane, a creator in-joke. The Providence skyline is visible in the background if you look.
