The anchor desk has been occupied by Tucker and Simmons, then Tucker and Kinney. The newsroom has a photo wall and a broadcast schedule. Ollie Williams delivers weather from a separate position. Tricia Takanawa reports from the field, usually from somewhere unfortunate. The studio has been shown in various episodes as a workplace with the specific dynamics of a small local news operation: politics, vanity, genuine journalism occasionally breaking through.
