Character from Family Guy by Seth MacFarlane / Fox
The narcissistic, mustachioed anchor of Quahog 5 News — a local celebrity by Quahog's modest standards, with the self-regard of someone operating in a much larger market.
Tom Tucker is Quahog's most visible media figure, which is a position he maintains through a combination of competence, vanity, and complete freedom from political correctness. He and Diane Simmons bickered for years on air with a chemistry that was clearly real and clearly toxic. His personal life is complicated. His son Jake has an upside-down face. His ex-wife Stacy is around somewhere. He briefly dated Peter's mother. After Diane Simmons was revealed as a murderer and killed, Joyce Kinney replaced her — and Tom did not make the transition easy. He is Quahog's most reliable reporter of its own disasters, which means his face is the one people see when things go wrong. He doesn't take it personally.
A handsome man in his fifties with a magnificent thick mustache that is, it turns out, fake and belongs to the studio. Wears a suit appropriate to on-camera work and carries himself with the polished authority of local television news. His baritone is his most reliable asset.
