Mayor Adam West is a recurring fixture of Quahog civic life, in the way that a crack in a foundation is a fixture: you learn to work around it, and sometimes it's charming, and sometimes it brings the building down. He spent $100,000 investigating who was stealing his water (it was going into the drain, as water does). He spent thousands on a gold statue of the Dig 'Em the Frog cereal mascot. He married his right hand. He attempted to jump into a toxic waste dump to get superpowers. Voiced by the real Adam West, who was clearly delighted to play an absurdist version of himself, the Mayor has a particular dignity in his complete commitment to the bit. He is not confused. He knows exactly what he is doing. He just doesn't explain it.
A distinguished older man in a suit, carrying the erect bearing and lined face of a former TV star who has settled into something deeply strange. His expression suggests he is operating on information that only he has access to. Wears a mayor's sash on official occasions, though what counts as official is negotiable.
