Character from Family Guy by Seth MacFarlane / Fox
The longtime bartender of the Drunken Clam — a Quahog institution who served Peter, Cleveland, Quagmire, and Joe their beer for most of the show's run.
Horace was the Drunken Clam, in the way that a bartender of twenty years becomes the establishment. He was there when Peter's group became a group. He was there for the karaoke night, the hurricane, the British pub conversion that nobody wanted and then the reversal. His first reaction to any hardship was to sell the bar. He sold it to Nigel Pinchley after a hurricane; got it back when Pinchley burned it down for insurance fraud. He nearly died in a fire in 'Blind Ambition' and Peter saved his life. He died in 'Save the Clam' after Jerome accidentally hit him with a baseball. The bar continued. Jerome took over. The round of drinks at his funeral was the correct tribute.
A heavyset older man behind the bar, in the uniform of a lifer — apron, graying hair, the comfortable authority of someone who has owned this specific fifteen feet of counter for decades. His expression is that of a man who has heard everything and stopped being surprised by most of it.
