Consuela began as a cutaway gag — one of the show's most successful — and was absorbed into the regular Quahog ecosystem when the show brought her to work for the Griffins in 'Dog Gone.' She refers to everyone as 'Mister' regardless of gender. She demands Lemon Pledge. She does not leave when asked. Voiced by Mike Henry, who modeled her on one of his former maids, Consuela operates on her own logic: she does what she does, refuses what she refuses, and cannot be moved by argument or authority. This makes her a reliable chaos element in any scene she enters.
A stout Latina woman in a maid's uniform, carrying cleaning supplies with the authority of someone who considers the cleaning to be her jurisdiction and everything else to be other people's problem. Her expression is neutral in the specific way of someone who has decided that reaction costs energy.
