Milagre is where Speaker for the Dead takes place. A colony of ~15,000 humans on a planet shared with the Pequeninos. The Xenobiological labs study the Descolada. The monastery is where Novinha eventually retreated. The fence around Pequenino territory is the border Miro crossed and was paralyzed for. It is a small place where very large things happen: Ender speaks deaths, the Hive Queen is reborn, the Recolada is created, and three species learn (painfully, imperfectly) to coexist.
