Open field region of the Land of Shadow. Jagged cliffs beneath an eclipsed sky, ancient cathedral ruins, and the remnants of the Hornsent civilization Marika tried to erase. Scaduview stretches beneath the permanent eclipse in muted tones of grey and amber. The cliffs are sharp and vertical, carved by winds that carry ash and memory. Cathedral ruins of the Hornsent people stand partially intact — their architecture organic, spiraling, built from techniques the Golden Order never mastered and therefore destroyed. Fields of gravestones mark mass burials. The Scadutree's influence is strongest here, its shadow-grace pooling in the low places like dark water. Warriors of the Hornsent still patrol, undying, defending a homeland that was already lost before they started fighting. The sky is wrong — the eclipse creates a permanent twilight where shadows fall in impossible directions, and the light that does filter through is tinged with the sickly amber of divine guilt.
