The golden city built among the Erdtree's roots. Seat of the Golden Order's power, defended by golden-armored knights and the remnants of divine authority. Later buried in ash after the burning of the Erdtree. Leyndell is grandeur calcified. Every surface gleams with gold leaf and divine intention — the architecture itself is worship, each buttress a prayer, each spire an argument for the Golden Order's supremacy. The Erdtree's roots weave through the city like veins through a body, and in places the distinction between tree and building dissolves entirely. Golden soldiers patrol with mechanical devotion. The Erdtree Sanctuary awaits at the heart, where Morgott defended the throne until his dying breath. When the Erdtree burns, the city is buried beneath a sea of ash — the same structures, the same grandeur, now entombed in grey silence. The capital becomes its own mausoleum.
