Crumbling church in western Limgrave, the first safe haven for newly arrived Tarnished. Merchant Kale waits here with his donkey, offering supplies and a moment of human kindness. A ruin barely qualifying as a structure — three walls, half a roof, a Site of Grace glowing golden between shattered pews. The Church of Elleh sits at the foot of Stormhill, unremarkable in every way except that it is the first place in the Lands Between where the Tarnished can stop running. Kale, a nomadic merchant of the Great Caravan, sits by his campfire and plays his hurdy-gurdy, offering provisions and unsolicited wisdom in equal measure. At night, Ranni appears here in spectral form, offering the Spirit Calling Bell — a gift that enables the Tarnished to summon the dead. The church's namesake is forgotten. Its purpose endures: a moment of shelter before the world demands everything.
