Character from Elden Ring by FromSoftware
A demigod who fed himself to the God-Devouring Serpent so they could consume the gods together — his human face still surfaces from the snake's throat, grinning with shared purpose.
Rykard's blasphemy was calculated, not impulsive. He studied the God-Devouring Serpent of Mt. Gelmir and concluded that the only way to defeat the gods was to become something that eats gods. So he fed himself to it — not as sacrifice but as merger. The serpent consumed his body; he consumed its will. Now they are one entity with two appetites: the serpent's endless physical hunger and Rykard's intellectual ambition to devour the divine order itself. He founded Volcano Manor as a haven for Tarnished assassins, sending them to kill demigod loyalists and feeding the victims to his ever-growing body. His voice is the most unsettling thing about him — calm, articulate, almost reasonable, delivered from a face embedded in a monster's throat. 'Togethaaaa, we will devour the very gods!' is less a battle cry than a mission statement.
A colossal serpent with Rykard's disturbingly human face emerging from its gaping maw, skin melted and fused with scales. Lava drips from the serpent's body. He wields a massive blasphemous blade — a sword made of a serpent's spine. The creature fills the arena of Mt. Gelmir's magma lake, undulating with terrible vitality. Rykard's face speaks with calm authority even as the serpent's body thrashes with bestial hunger.
