Character from Elden Ring by FromSoftware
An emaciated, motionless prophet who communicates only through finger movements — standing for ages on bridges and hilltops, working out the mathematical perfection of the Golden Order through pure contemplation.
Goldmask is the Golden Order's truest theologian — a man who stripped away everything unnecessary (speech, movement, food, apparently) to focus entirely on understanding the Erdtree's divine mathematics. His conclusion, after contemplation that spans the entire game, is that the Golden Order's flaw is the gods themselves. His Mending Rune of Perfect Order removes divine influence while preserving the Order's structure — a reformation rather than a revolution.
Impossibly thin, nearly skeletal, wearing only a golden mask and rags. He stands with arms outstretched, completely motionless for what appears to be weeks or months at a time. His fingers twitch occasionally — his only form of communication, which only Corhyn can interpret.
