Diallos Hoslow

Character from Elden Ring by FromSoftware

A nobleman desperate to prove himself a worthy warrior, failing at every turn — he ends his journey in Jarburg, dying to protect the gentle jar-folk he finally found worth defending.

Diallos is the Lands Between's most relatable failure. He comes from the noble House Hoslow, whose members are renowned warriors, and he is none of those things. He joins Volcano Manor to prove himself and fails. He wanders the Lands Between seeking purpose and finds none. He finally arrives in Jarburg, where the peaceful jar-folk need a protector, and when poachers come, he fights and dies — killing one attacker at the cost of his own life. It is a small, unheroic death, and the jars mourn him sincerely. It is the only victory he needed.

Appearance

A young nobleman in ornate armor that looks better than he fights in it. Dark hair, anxious expression, carrying weapons that seem slightly too large for him. His bearing oscillates between bravado and visible insecurity.
