A frozen island country based on England and Scotland — home of Snow Wood Boarding School, Lake Tess and its monster, and Dr. Andonuts's laboratory near Stonehenge.
Winters is an island country in the region of Foggyland, and it's where Jeff's story begins. Snow Wood Boarding School sits in the north, where Jeff and Tony are roommates. The path south leads past the Tessie-Watching Club, across Lake Tess (via Tessie), through Brick Road's instructional dungeon maze, past Stonehenge, and to Dr. Andonuts's laboratory. Rainy Circle is the fourth Your Sanctuary location. Later in the game, the Stonehenge Base beneath Stonehenge becomes a critical dungeon — Giygas's forces kidnap Apple Kid, Tony, and Dr. Andonuts and hold them there. The party must fight through powerful Starmen to rescue them. Winters is cold, dangerous, and beautiful, and Jeff crossed it alone at night when he was twelve years old.
Snow-covered landscape. Pine forests and frozen ground. Lake Tess stretches between the boarding school and the laboratory. Stonehenge stands mysterious and ancient in the south. The caves are dark and maze-like.
