The second town — 'we got this name because we weren't first' — home of Paula, two rival kid inventors, a thief with a heart of gold, and the Chaos Theater.
Twoson is where the adventure expands beyond Ness alone. It's home to Paula and her family's preschool, Apple Kid and Orange Kid's competing inventor operations, Everdred's Burglin Park empire, and the Chaos Theater where the Runaway Five are trapped in debt. The road east through Peaceful Rest Valley leads to Happy Happy Village and Paula's prison. The bus station connects to Threed through a ghost-infested tunnel. The town has a laid-back, slightly bohemian energy. There's a bike shop called Punk-Sure. A man in the hotel will give you fifty dollars just to make you stop talking to him. New Age Retro Hippies attack you on the streets. It was supposed to be a 'Los Angeles style' town according to Itoi's design notes.
A spread-out town with Old West-style buildings, branching roads, and Burglin Park's outdoor flea market at its center. The Polestar Preschool sits to the east. Mach Pizza delivers anywhere. Population: 3,711.
